Our pieces are made by craftsmen in Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia. These artisan
groups include women-run businesses, fair trade organizations and home-based workers.
They operate ethically (no sweatshop or child labor) and also support traditional local talent - a
cause we love to champion in this era of mass production factories and forgotten makers.
We have forged strong relationships with these global workshops over the years, ironed
out production kinks and perfected every little detail.
Ethics and Sustainability
We also endeavour to incorporate socially responsible practices in every part of our supply
chain – from using repurposed brass in our partner Cambodian workshop, to employing
environmentally friendly ways of disposing post-production waste at the
Indonesian workshop. Recycled materials are chosen wherever possible, from our packaging
to office supplies, and we avoid using animal products (leather, horn) in our collections.
